Fascinating reports! Who knew pinapple grew in the ground? And all that water power? Amazing use of available natural resources. Loved hearing the history behind Australia and Papua New Guinea. My former biology teacher taught there (upon retirement) for 2 years. He loved all the plants and insects - especially the insects!! Thanks for sharing.😍😎

What fabulous experiences your family is enjoying! But my favorite post is when the three of you do your reports. It's wonderful to hear about all you are learning and seeing. Each of you teach me something new that I can share. Uncle John and Papa will appreciate Jimmy's World War II research, and I want to slide down the canal with the power of the water Sammy showed us. Lucy's tickle plant must be a part of my next Garden Club gathering. I wonder of many of those ladies have ever heard of these. Great job guys! We love and miss you all.

Pretty cool reports about the climate and its effect on life there. And indeed Papua New Guinea was on the front lines of World War II - imagine a war in those jungles and how difficult it was.
